Class Levels.

 

Level 1.

Intro/Beginner

Upright moves only from the ground.  Hand grips, basics on climbs (without challenging to climb the whole length of pole), small focused moves.

Fundamentals: pole etiquette, video etiquette, use of grips and cleaning poles, understanding body mechanics on spin vs static.

 

Level 3.

Intermediate

Inverts (ascending/descending)

Various tricks incorporating height of pole, aerial combos, grip changes, and various climbs. Maintains 3 points of contact.

Fundamentals: body awareness techniques, safely exiting inverts/moves, transitional moves for fluid combos, and higher level of training.

Level 2.

Beginner/Intro to Intermediate

Upright moves only. Descending inverts such as Jasmine, Genie, and outside leg hang (if appropriate for class/students). Climbing on static and spin.

Fundamentals: linking moves together, understanding grip changes, safely exiting pole, ascension, and descents on spin/static.

 

Level 4.

Advanced

Inverts (ascending/descending)

Higher level of tricks (static and spin) to challenge strength and control. Aerial combos, handstands, power and strength moves. 2 Points of contact moves.

Fundamentals: body awareness techniques, safely exiting inverts/moves, transitional moves for fluid combos, and higher level of training.
